The snow is located at the Glencoe Ski Centre on the flank of Meall a’ Bhuiridh and has remained as a result of this year’s cooler summer. There are several Scottish mountain areas holding onto some of last winter’s snow including Ben Nevis, Aonach Mor, and some locations in the Cairngorms. It’s likely a few remnants will survive into this coming winter, particularly in Braeriach’s Garbh Choire Mòr, where snow can remain for decades.
