Pitlochry Christmas Festival
The first ever Pitlochry Christmas Festival is due to take place in the town on Saturday 28th November and the organisers have set up an event packed with fun for all the family. It's sure to be a superb day out with stalls, games, a Narnian Ice Queen storyteller, a pipe band and much, much more - all leading up to the big Christmas Lights switch on at 4pm. Proceedings will run from noon to 6pm, giving ample time for some Christmas shopping too. Pitlochry is home to lots of small independent retailers selling a multitude of unusual items you wont find so easily on city high streets. Many of them will also have special deals and promotions running on the day so there will be plenty to tempt you.
Our own contribution is to offer a free Ben Vrackie t-shirt to anyone who climbs the hill on the morning of the 28th and comes into our Pitlochry shop afterwards. The tees will be very similar (though not identical) to the ones we sell on here and in our stores. They are standard fit garments in sizes small to XL and you can either choose one to fit yourself or pick one to give as a Christmas present to someone else.
The rules are simple - you just have to turn up at the shop during the festival and show us a photo (on your phone, camera, etc) of yourself beside the summit view indicator. The pic has to have been taken that morning and ideally should be date stamped. The offer is available "while stocks last" although we do have lots to give out.
Why not come and join us on the 28th for a great day out in Highland Perthshire? Spend the morning on the hill and the afternoon at the festival - best of both worlds!
